Supported devices

• All devices must be connected to a single screen only
• All devices must use the device’s native keyboard
• External keyboards or mice are not required for tablets
• The iPad mini is not supported.
• Chromebooks must be running as Managed Devices in Kiosk mode for Writing which require the locked-down browser.

We recommend using Google Chrome to run Mathematics, English, Science and Digital Technologies.

Download Locked-down Browser

A secure locked-down browser application is required for:

• ICAS Writing
• ICAS Spelling Bee

• Important: If you have previously installed Replay, please uninstall that version before downloading and installing the updated version provided.

Internet bandwidth (speed)

• Use the Technical Readiness Test to check your internet speed automatically
• Recommended requirements:
  • 1 Mbps bandwidth per 1 user
  • 10 Mbps bandwidth per 10 users.
• No additional bandwidth is needed for locked-down browser use, after installing.

Settings

• A minimum screen resolution of 1024 width x 768 height
• JavaScript and browser cookies must be enabled in the browser.
